Smart is the new Sexy...

I have only watched 2 episodes till date, but it’s hilarious, and I really liked it a lot. It’s a story of Leonard and Sheldon (I call them geeks) who are studying and a new neighbor, Penny (a sexy, hot and beautiful chick) comes in their apartment. It’s a story that how everyone falls in loves with her, and tries to impress her with their amazing talents.

It’s a story where you will listen to how the open windows affect you, how the air does come and what all it can cause to you... How much cleanliness is important in life, how you can start establishing premises and reasons. :P

Just quoting one instance from the 1st episode where the guys are driving a car and talking...

The Bank Job

How long have you guys been waiting for a movie based on bank robbery, guess here is your turn. A crime, thriller and a true story of 70's when a bank was robbed on London streets. This one will certainly hold you back to your screens.

It was a robbery worth more than 4 million pounds, and it all disappeared from the news in a flash. There were many who were arrested following the case which includes many government officials and gang leaders.

A man who is a local villain, offered to rob a bank by a super model, all with support of the government. The whole motive is to find out certain photographs, which can lead the government to arrest a drug trafficker.

The story takes twist and turn, when the group finds out that there were other things than the desired photographs, and the cash and jewels which make their life miserable.

The lead robber is played by Jason Statham and the supermodel is Saffron Burrows. The group of robbers is a bunch of gifted actors who have played their part quite well. The movie contains a little nudity, so be aware of it, if you are watching it at home.

The Great Debaters

A great movie based on a true story and the American society in 1935, when the blacks were treated differently. The movie is definitely a must watch for people who love watching Period Movies and movies concerned to the society. The truth of the movie still stands and may be blacks are not treated so differently in the States, but for any society which is treated so, it stands true for all of them.

The cast includes the great Denzel Washington himself, who has directed the movie too, then Forest Whitaker, from the movie The Last King of Scotland and also Vantage point.

The cast has done a great job and justified themselves in the movie. The movie has lots of sequences which will spellbound you. I am just quoting few for the reference...

One, when the kid was selected for the debate team, he ran to his house...

S-"Dad.."
F-"Junior, What is... the greatest weakness of men?"
S-"Not believing... Doubt..."
F-"That's it, Thank you Jr."

and then the father asks his son after being told abt the selection...

F-"What do we do here?"
S-"We do what we have to do, so that we do what we want to do..."

and when Forest Whitaker says...

"An unjust Law is No Law at all..."

And it all ends with a punch...

When in a debate, on the topic "Civil Dis-obidience is a more weapon in the fight of justice", arguing the affirmative, the Negro boy(quoting from movie...) says...

He quotes an incident where a Negro was lynched("Any act of violence inflicted by a mob upon the body of another person which results in the death of the person."), and he says...

"I have a right, even duty to resist, with violence, or civil dis-obidience. You should pray I choose the latter...."

Go ahead guys, buy a DVD and i promise, its worth every single penny spent.
